Drivers Everywhere Seeing Success With McGunegill Sealed Engines
Hantz, Pollard, Reaid, Brannon and Hoffman Are Among The Latest Winners
With nearly 5 full seasons in the books, the McGunegill Engine Performance sealed engine program has celebrated success at countless tracks, with numerous series and some of the biggest names in short track racing.  To gain a reputation as a premier late model engine builder, MEP has focused on continuous improvement to its program and superior customer service to racers and promoters alike.  Building an engine program that satisfies a race teams desire to “have the best” and “be the best” as well as working hand in hand with sanctioning bodies to promote equal and fair racing has launched MEP to the top tier of the sealed and crate engine world.

“Some engine builders promise the world and deliver substantially less, but what we are focused on is giving our customers the best quality engine package, along with an emphasis on customer service,” stated Dewaine McGunegill, Jr.

In the young 2009 season MEP customers have continued amassing an amazing list of victories, pole awards and consistent top-five finishes and there is little doubt that the list will only get longer as the season progresses.  How could MEP engines not find their way into victory lane with names like Hantz, Hoffman, Reaid, Brannon and Pollard utilizing MEP power plants.

From the bullrings to the mile long “super speedways,” from the tip of Michigan and even into Canada all the way down to some of the legendary tracks in Florida, McGunegill engines seem to find their way to the front.   Other engine builders have come into the sealed engine realm, realizing the need for cost effective competitive racing, but the busy shop in Muncie, Indiana is the only one that can boast nearly six years of sealed engine development and production.

“We are proud of the progress that we have made in late model racing, and are looking forward to expanding our line of sealed engines into street stock and limited late model categories,” said Dewaine (Mac) McGunegill Sr.
